10×8 Wide Oak Frame (Landscape)

Wide oak frame for those who are looking for something that shows a lot of wood with a true Mission appeal.  This beautiful frame provides that Arts and Crafts feel in a simple way that looks great in any room.  This frame is currently unfinished so you can choose the color you’d like it to be stained.  Choose from Light, Medium, Dark Mission, Mission 32, Fayetteville, or Renaissance.  See color samples here.

A classic wide Mission oak frame that will hold a 10″ x 8″ picture, photo, or artwork with three (3) inches on both the stiles and rails. Corners are joined using genuine mortise and tenon joinery and then secured with flush square pegs in each corner.   The wide oak frame shown is constructed of the most popular wood, quarter sawn oak, but can also be constructed in other wood species such as Mahogany, Black Walnut, and Cherry.

Keyholes are included on the back of the frame.  Keyholes allow the frame to hang flat against the wall.

Quartersawn oak is a very popular wood used during the Arts and Crafts Movement.  The way the wood is milled into boards creates beautiful ray flaking on the surface of the boards.  Properly finished making these flakes pop out and create a distinguished look, unlike any other wood.
