Mission Block Frame

This Mission frame is similar to the Mission Corner Block Frame number 2055.  The difference being is the corners on this frame are flush to the rails.  After seeing a frame like this in an Antique shop it inspired me to build and offer one like it here.  The rails are two inches wide and each corner block is 2″ square along and uses mortise and tenon joinery. This style of frame will not only look great around any artwork, tile, photo, or poster, but it would also work well for that special ceramic tile.

Each corner of this Mission Block frame is secured from the back using a dowel. Constructed of your choice of woods with quarter sawn oak being the most popular wood ordered.  The top and bottom rails and side stiles are slightly recessed from each corner square block to better accent the corners.  This Mission corner block frame is one of the few mortise and tenon frames that can easily be displayed in either the portrait or landscape orientation. The frame shown is displaying a matted greeting card created by Yoshiko Yamamoto which is not included in the price, however is sold separately.

Frame ships within 48 hours of receiving your order unless paying by check which then will ship once the check clears the bank.
