Ordering a Wood Frame…
To place an order for a custom crafted wood frame simply follow these steps from any of the frames that fall under Custom Order Frames. This means any frame that’s not in stock.
As you make selections on a custom frame product page, other options may appear. Please be sure to make a selection for each option so that your frame requirements can be met.
Find a wood frame you like, and then select a size using the drop down menu under Frame Size. If you don’t see a size that you need, look at the last option in the drop down menu to see if there is a “Custom Size” option. If there is select it and follow the prompts from there, otherwise you will need to enter a Product Inquiry. The Product Inquiry button is located under the Add to cart button. (Please Note: If the “Product Inquiry” will not work and you’re using IE, please try using a different browser such as Chrome, or Firefox.)
- If there is a size you like then simply select the size you need. Once a size is selected a price for that frame style and size will calculate and appear. If you need more than four (4) of any one frame, please contact me or call for time and other considerations.
- Now work your way through your custom wood frame options using the drop-down menus available to make your selections. Selections will vary depending on the style of wood frame you need as well as the usage of the frame.
- The final step is to click on the “Add to cart” button to add the wood frame to your basket. Then in the upper right hand corner of the page click on the cart tab to be taken to your shopping cart which will show you the details of the choices you made along with the total price and shipping fees. You’ll have the choice to check out or continue shopping when in the shopping cart.
IN STOCK FRAMES
To place an order for an in-stock item, simply find the item you want and click on the “Add to cart” button and then in the upper right hand corner of the page click on the cart tab to be taken to your shopping cart where you can complete your order. (Depending on the size of frame, there could be an option to purchase glass.)
Custom-Ready frames are common sized frames (5×7, 8×10, 11×14, etc) already assembled sitting in stock but not completely finished. This will allow you to pick the color and maybe the choice of corner pegs, but the product will ship within 10 business days rather than the 4 – 8 weeks for a custom-made frame.
RUSH ORDERS (On limited sizes – additional fee applies)
Placing a Rush Order will give your frame top priority in production. Rush Orders apply to some custom frames but up to 18″x24″ only. The approximate ship time on a rush order will be 10 to 15 business days rather than the standard 4 – 8 weeks.
If you would like to place a rushed order please contact me to get pricing details. Keep in mind that Rush Orders do not automatically include Priority Shipping options. For the timeliest delivery, you may want to consider a faster shipping option along with your RUSH order. Priority deliveries will also require contact for pricing.
There is only one option for shipping which is standard Ground UPS shipping that takes four to five business days.
If you prefer to have your product shipped using something other than Ground shipping please contact me with your details and I’ll provide pricing.
Be sure to double check the, “Ship To” information when checking out. Although if it is incorrect it can be changed through UPS, however there is a healthy fee attached to it and you will be responsible for paying that additional fee. So please make sure you have the correct address where you want your frame shipped to.
Product Completion Times
Although on many of the product pages an approximate shipment time is given, please keep in mind to allow 4 to 5 weeks for standard single products, 5 to 6 weeks for smaller custom frames, 6 to 8 weeks on larger frames and 7 to 12 weeks on multiple frame orders to ship. Again, these timelines are approximate and can change depending on the current number of incoming orders.
In-stock items typically ship within 48 – 72 hours unless otherwise indicated.
When ordering custom frames that will be given as a gift during the Christmas season, they will need to be placed on or before November 10th in order to get them built, finished and shipped on time. Any orders after this date risk being received after the holiday and closer to the New Year.
Canadian orders are now accepted. In the shopping cart (checkout) you may be asked what region you live in, simply use the drop down and select Canada. This sets the shipping default in the shopping cart and will reflect Canada Standard rates. If “Your Location” is set for something other than Canada simply click on the change link to the right and then use the drop down menu to select Canada. If you prefer another shipping preference such as three day air you’ll need to contact me for shipping costs. All duties, taxes and other fees will be the responsibility of the customer receiving the goods. This means there will be additional monies required when a package is picked up or delivered to you.

When inquiring please include the product number that you’re referencing along with the details such as what is being framed (mirror, paper media, canvas art, etc.) the size of the content needing framed, stain color, and frame orientation if applicable.
SPECIAL CUSTOM ORDERS
Any requested items not listed or items altered under any products or gallery page is considered a special custom order. Special Custom Orders are normally not affected by current specials or discounts unless prior considerations have been discussed. Special custom order sales are final and returns based on measurements and design details are not accepted and are nonrefundable. All special custom orders are final upon your acceptance of measurements and design details.
BEST PRACTICE: Always double check your measurements and design details prior to accepting the final pricing of any special custom order.
WEBSITE GLITCHES: No matter how well a website is designed and managed, there will be glitches in which case a product item can contain errors that are beyond my control. If the glitch affects a frame size or style, I will honor the correct size and style. If a product is priced out incorrectly, depending on the depth of the incorrect price, a refund may need to be issued and a new order submitted by the customer to correct the discrepancy.
RETURNS (Damaged Product)
If a frame arrives damaged or in the very rare case there’s a mistake on a built product the customer should contact Jim immediately for replacement. Once contact has been made a return label will be issued to the customer at no expense to them. If the customer would like to keep the damaged or flawed product they would need to contact me for possible pricing considerations, otherwise the customer should always expect a return label which is usually sent through email and shipped back via UPS.
All frames, unless otherwise stated, include backing and mounting hardware to hold your artwork and backing into the frame.
Glass can be include at an extra cost, however due to shipping difficulties and instability, frames larger than 16×20 CAN NOT include glass unless you have directly contacted me to make prior arrangements. If you would like glass and there is not an option to select it, as I am in the process of adding that feature, please contact me or email me directly.

Because photos on a website are really only a close representation of the real product due to monitor and browser variances there’s nothing saying that the product will be exactly the way it looks on this website. Therefore any items, other than special orders, you purchase have a Satisfaction Guarantee. Upon receipt, if a product isn’t what you thought it’d be, then simply return the item within 7 days and it’ll gladly be replaced with another item of the same value or return your money. The frame being returned must be received in excellent condition. This does not include return shipping. If the item is replaced the buyer will be responsible for the shipping costs incurred to ship the new item.
